The Inns Award Winning ’30 Mile Menu’ producing very local, fresh and iconic pub food with a twist is what we are known for. To ensure freshness and authenticity we take great effort in sourcing all of our ingredients within 30 Miles of The Inn including game, meats, smoked meats and fish, seafood, New Forest Mushrooms and asparagus and veg, herbs and flowers from our own Kitchen Garden from Higher Holwell Cottage in the village. We personally know most of our suppliers!
We are proud of our kitchen team lead by Head Chef Michael Smith with his vast experience with Gordon Ramsay, Marco Pierre White, Marcus Waring, Damien Hill and now taking his skills to country pub food. Michael excels in the art of cooking from fresh a variety of delicious food bursting with passion.
We provide, as well as our iconic 30 Mile Menu for lunch and dinner, a Lunch Sandwich Board and Daily Specials Board. Don’t forget about Breakfast. Call in for breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week.
The Inn provides you with the choice to dine in the Village Bar, our Snug or Inglenook Bar. The Lamp Room can provide private intimate dining for up to 10 people.
